2 March 2024, Andhra Pradesh: FPSO Armada Sterling V achieved the significant milestone of ‘1st Crude Oil Offtake’ completion to the crude oil tanker Swarna Sindhu on 27th February 2024, at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)’s KG-DWN-98/2 field. The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, inaugurated the KG-DWN-98/2 project and flagged off the tanker carrying crude extracted by FPSO Armada Sterling V to the refinery, on 2nd March 2024. The Prime Minister hailed the start of oil production from the field as a historic moment for India, aligning with the mission for an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat’. He emphasized that the project plays a crucial role in reducing the nation's dependence on oil imports. This successful demonstration of the robustness and reliability of all FPSO systems firmly positions India on the global stage, showcasing the rapid rise of India’s engineering and construction prowess in the global energy infrastructure domain. It paves the way for Indian engineers and service providers to tap into the fast-growing USD 20 billion global FPSO market.

Shapoorji Pallonji Energy obtains CLASS Concept Design AIP for NEWBUILD FPSO HULL

Design AIP 27th October 2023, Singapore : Shapoorji Pallonji Energy Pvt Ltd (SP Energy) announces that it has obtained a CLASS AIP (Approval-in-Principle) for the Concept and Design Basis of its FPSO Newbuild Hull from ABS (American Bureau of Shipping). Shapoorji Pallonji Energy Pvt Ltd (SP Energy) announces that it has obtained a CLASS AIP (Approval-in-Principle) for the Concept and Design Basis of its FPSO Newbuild Hull from ABS (American Bureau of Shipping). SP Energy had been working on the concept design of ‘STERLING STREAMLINE’, a new generation of its standardized newbuild hull concept design for large FPSOs, since July this year. The new FPSO hull will be designed for circa 33 service years lifespan with topsides capacity of up to 65,000 MT of wet weight. It will house an integrated accommodation for a minimum of 200 personnel. The FPSO will be planned for various mooring configuration flexibilities. It will feature a nominal 60 risers and umbilical slots riser balcony, with an oil processing capacity of up to 250,000 barrels per day and storage capacity of minimum 2.2 million barrels of crude oil. Shapoorji Pallonji Energy unveils NEWBUILD HULL in SINGAPORE

21st September 2023, Mumbai, Singapore: Shapoorji Pallonji Energy Pvt Ltd (SPE), has today unveiled STERLING STREAMLINE, a new generation of its standardized newbuild Hull concept design for large FPSOs. SP Energy, India’s sole specialist in designing, building, owning and operating Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units, is developing this new hull design that it believes would be an appropriate off-the-shelf solution for the offshore industry. 98/2 FPSO PROJECT RECEIVED SHARP AWARD DURING CONSTRUCTION PHASE

September 2021, SCM has received Safety Health Award Recognition Project (SHARP) award from WSH Council Singapore Sharp Awardfor FPSO Armada Sterling V for outstanding HSE performance during these COVID times and for having an LTI free operation for 3 million manhours. FPSO Armada Sterling V is the only project in SCM to have received this honour. FPSO Armada Sterling V is presently under construction at a yard in Singapore and getting ready for deployment in KG basin in East Coast of India.


SPOG GROUP SECURED O&M CONTRACT IN RAJASTHAN, INDIA

May 2021, Cairn Oil and Gas has awarded SPBAOPL (‘Shapoorji Pallonji Bumi Armada Offshore Private Limited’) the LOA for “Operation & Maintenance of RDG (Raageshwari Deep Gas) gas processing facilities and associated well pads” in Rajasthan, India. The contract was executed in July 2021 between SPBAOPL and Vedanta Limited. The contract is of 18 months (primary period) with an extension option of another 6 months.

The capacity of RDG gas processing facility is approx. 160 MMSCFD.

The broad scope of work for the project includes Field Based Operations and Maintenance of RDG terminal and New & Existing Well Pads (total 7 numbers of well pads), OHL, intra‐field pipeline, condensate export facilities at AGI‐5, Procurement of spares, chemicals, consumable and OEM specialist services and management. Including regulatory compliance and managing interfaces.

As SPOG group has its in-house talented and experienced O&M team in India, award of this project marks the entry of SPOG group in a completely new segment of on-shore Operations & Maintenance projects.


SPOG LED CONSORTIUM AWARDED WITH FSRU PROJECT, MUMBAI, INDIA

18th February 2021, a consortium led by Shapoorji Pallonji Energy Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded a project by Mumbai Port Trust (‘MbPT’) to Setup, Operate and Maintain Floating Storage and Regasification Unit in Mumbai Harbour on Land License model.

The consortium has formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (‘SPV’) namely SP Armada Clean Energy Ventures Private Limited (‘SPACEVPL’) in which SPOG holds 51% shareholding. The remaining 49% is being held by our Malaysian partner, Bumi Armada Berhad group.

The License Agreement was executed on 18th May 2021 between MbPT and SPACEVPL.

The Project comprises of development of Floating Storage and Regasification Terminal for LNG receipt, re-gasification and evacuation through a sub-sea pipeline of approximately 6 km to the onshore landfall point at Nagav beach, Karanja village. Further, an approximate of 6.5 kms onshore pipeline would connect to the national gas grid in Uran.

We envisage the implementation of ground works to commence from February 2022. The Project is expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of Yr. 2025. The Project would be capable of handling 5 MMTPA of LNG.



SPOG JV SECURED LONG TERM FPSO O&M CONTRACT IN INDIA

September 2020, Shapoorji Pallonji Energy Pvt. Ltd. has secured a long-term contract from ONGC (Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited) for Operations & Maintenance services of FPSO Armada Sterling at D1 NBP Field, Offshore Mumbai, India.

The primary operational contract period is of 10 years with provision of annual optional extension for another 5 years. The FPSO Armada Sterling has liquid handling capacity of 60,000 BLPD, oil handling capacity of 50,000 BOPD, effluent handling capacity of 50,000 BWPD, water injection capacity of 15,000 BWPD, associated gas of 300 MSCMD and product offloading capacity of 4,000 m3/hr.
